I am glad and excited for you to visit my site and share a little about my experience after my arrival in the USA!
Coming to America!
I was born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands a wonderful country in its own right! I decided to emigrate to the United States because of all the opportunities it had to offer! Somehow, I had to find a way to go to the States! A colleague had a brother in the States, who was willing to be my sponsor. I was fortunate meeting my sponsor. He extended his willingness to sponsor me! I grabbed the opportunity and emigrated/immigrated to the USA. I arrived quite some years ago — the land of many “opportunities” and still is!
Professional Experiences Accumulated Over the Years!
In Holland I learned an excellent trade of being a Pastry Chef or normally referred to as Pâtissier! After arriving in the USA, I worked at my sponsor’s business who owned a few bakeries. Therefore, I had to learn how to make the “Fine American Pastries” with the hole in the middle! I had my own bakery and decided to get out of that!
Education and Main Accomplishments!
I decided to become a pilot. Enrolled in a pilot training flight school and obtained numerous flight certificates. As a Flight Instructor I trained many students for their respective flight certificates. On a dare I decided to attend University and graduated after two-and-half years of intensive study! Therefore, my accomplishments are not to brag which is not my style! But mainly to highlight what a person can accomplish when the mind is set to it! If people had told me, before leaving the Old Country, that I was going to get involved in all these different ‘occupations or endeavors’ I would have told them: “You are out of your mind!”
Mr. W. Clement Stone, business man and philanthropist, in his book wrote: “If you CAN Believe it — you CAN Achieve it!” Or “Whatever the mind believes – man can achieve!”
What Is So Special About the Internet and My Motives?
The Internet provides a platform to many different subjects. Such as: Awareness of New Products, Training, Establishing and Building Relationships and so-fort! On this website I will be chatting about online marketing, promoting products and other topics of interest as they may happen! And – yes – earn some extra money to supplement my Social Security income! Many people, as marketers, are earning a substantial income and living of the Internet!
Additionally, I love to help and/or advise people when they ask for it! I am open to suggestions, comments and positive critique! Also, promoting products that may be beneficial to the consumer. There is no obligation to purchase nor pressure imposed to purchase; it is all voluntary! I am a firm believer that people are responsible for their own actions!
Any interesting (short) stories to share are always welcomed!
